Purpose:

  • To maximise sales of Pearson Education titles and solutions as prescribed into all assigned academic institutions across a defined geographical territory to achieve sales target

  • To manage specified members of the UAE sales team to maximise their sales & achieve their sales target

  • To motivate and develop through management and coaching of assigned representatives within the team to achieve sales target and achieve best practice in all aspects of selling in the field

KeyAccountabilities:

  • Achieve sales target within individual specified sales territory

  • Achieve sales targets within assigned territories of responsibility through coaching, mentoring and developing of three assigned rep territories in team

  • Achieve agreed product & solutions sales target for individual and team

  • Achieve media integration in key course areas as designated

  • Achieving prescribed tracking and closed tracking sales goals for individual and team

  • Achieve required CRM data coverage and curriculum mapping of key departments and courses for individual and team

  • Achieve required number First Day of Class student presentation commitments for individual and team

  • Coaching of assigned representatives in specific areas such as PASS, solution selling, sell through strategies, planning, use of sales tools, use of Socrates and other CRM databases

  • Recruitment & training of excellent sales reps into vacant territories as required

  • Demonstrate best practice and lead by example in all key competency areas

  • Collaborate with marketing managers, technology specialists, custom editors and editors to help team achieve wins on key adoptions

Education, Qualifications & Training

Essential:

  • Bachelor’s degree

Desirable:

  • Masters or post graduate qualification

  • Fluency in Arabic is an advantage

Previous Experience

Essential:

  • Sales Management experience

Desirable:

  • Demonstrated excellence in PASS through attendance at PASS and PASS sales training

  • Socrates Super User or equivalent

IT Literacy

Essential:

  • IT literacy is a requirement
